VintageConcertTshirts.com ("we", "us", or "our") is a curated discovery hub for authentic vintage concert tshirts. We do not sell shirts directly — we curate and link to listings on eBay. Our website is located at vintageconcerttshirts.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and encrypted password hash. We never store your password in plain text.

Alert preferences: If you set up drop alerts, we store the band name and/or genre you want to be notified about, along with your email address.

Newsletter subscriptions: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and subscription date.

Usage data: We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised data about how visitors use our site, including pages viewed, time spent, and general geographic region. This data does not identify you personally.

Locally stored data: Your wishlist and recently-viewed items are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

• To send drop alert emails when new matching shirts are added to our collection
• To send our newsletter if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We do not use your information for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone other than the service providers necessary to operate this site (see Section 4).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• eBay — all shirt purchases are completed on eBay. When you click through to eBay, their privacy policy governs. eBay Privacy Policy

eBay links on our site include affiliate tracking parameters. This means we may earn a small commission if you purchase a shirt through our link, at no extra cost to you.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use the following browser storage:

• Authentication token (localStorage) — keeps you logged in for up to 30 days
• Wishlist (localStorage) — stores the IDs of shirts you've saved
• Recently viewed (localStorage) — stores up to 8 recently viewed products
• Google Analytics cookies — anonymised session and user tracking

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

Email alert and newsletter records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Anonymised analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention policies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for email communications at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EU/UK residents)

8. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
